One of the greatest concerns that Trion Corporation is addressing is the recidivism rate which is at 30% among returning citizens (prisonpolicy.org). In spite of Correction’s best efforts to provide opportunities for rehabilitation among returning citizens, a large number of them continue to re-offend.

We believe that returning citizens need to have opportunities for rehabilitation by assessing these individuals and creating a personal, individualized plan which will increase their chances of not reoffending.

It is evident that citizens are spending an exorbitant amount of tax dollars on housing returning citizens. We believe that a radical approach to continuing the rehabilitation process will be a sensible start to assisting their efforts to reduce crime, recidivism, and tax dollars spent on maintaining returning citizens. The Solution Trion Corporation consists of two areas- Correctional Services and Reentry which target a segment of society that is often left without adequate resources as they transition out of difficult circumstances.

Trion Corporation is launching a reentry initiative that focuses on taking a radical approach to promoting change in the most critical areas of a returning citizen’s life: recovery, restoration, and reintegration.

The target audience for this program is the returning citizens with six to twelve months remaining on their sentence or have been granted parole with six to twelve months left before their release.
